The Tippet Life
Tied to what really matters...
Profile

I see myself as a Life Guide. I guide others - and the discoveries they make along the way excite me as well...

I believe that we are all here with a purpose. From my experience I also know that that we often do not succeed in living a life that speaks of  fulfillment, integrity and enthusiasm. "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them..." are the true words of  Henry Thoreau. I strive to help you to do it better.

Life is a gift - and we are meant to enjoy it. And when there are aspects of our lives that we want to work on - now that is what a fly fishing rod is for!

I have a great love for the outdoors and fly fishing is the ideal passion for someone like me. There is more than enough time to think and rethink our lives while casting a fly line. And discovering the "tippet-values" - well that is the bonus!

I invite you to join me in discovering your unique version of
The Tippet Life.

I have completed my studies at the University of Pretoria during 1976 - 1982 and is a senior pastor. I currently serve as Operational Manager  at the Eastern Synod of the Dutch Reformed Church in Pretoria responsible for managing projects, finance and personnel as well as facilitation.

I have a strong interest in strategic planning, change management and the business world and have completed a MBA (Masters in Business Administration) degree in 2009. My study of Appreciative Inquiry has confirmed the possibilities of change in individuals and organisations to be a positive and energising experience.

I have also done courses in facilitation including the Facilitative Leadership Training Course and the Advanced Course for Facilitators under the leadership of dr. Arnold Smit.
